Power supplies are affected by things like power surges, but also fail due to overheating (if piano is left on for too long) or age. It is probably going to be an issue with the internal power supply. It is very unlikely the issue is with the power cord itself. Welcome to Pawn America Online Shopping Store! Track your order 0.
He runs the game medium, at 40ish fps, while I can't touch it even on all low- once again showing the CPU is the big factor.īTW: Just checked and my GPU usage is still only at 70% for both cards(this is my main system), which means when they fix this and get it to 100% we all should see yet another performance gain.Digitech PS0913B Power Supply (for JHE, XAS-BM, JamMan, Whammy, EX7, GNX1, RP100-350, RPx400, BP200, Check on Amazon Super Power Supply® AC / DC Adapter Charger Cord for DigiTech RP100 P150 RP200 RP300 RP350 (RP3) Wal. Your AMD X2 processor is definitely holding you back, I OC'd my Core 2 Duo from 2.8 to 3.4 and saw a massive FPS increase- thus showing how CPU bound this game is.Īlso, me and my brother both have identical desktops, with evga 9800gt's 2gb ram, and the only difference is that he has a Core 2 Duo at 3.5 ghz, while I have a AMD x2 4200+ at 2.5 ghz.
DICE is showing incentive and optimizing this, and I would say that once we get the first patch or two, along with nvidia/ati improved drivers, the game should be fine.
Well I would say your 8800 should be fine for this game, it runs on the xbox360, and we have seen FAR worse 360 ports. I'll be happy to get rid of this piece of **** AMD X2 processor, anyhoot. Can't purchase a new computer soon enough. I struggle to top 20 FPS even on the lowest settings possible. I think I'm just one of the unlucky folks.
I now am running fluid 60-100 fps on medium settings, w/ no stutterĬPU: AMD64 3800+ Venice 2592MHz (12x216) | CPU Cooler: Zalman CNPS-9500 LED w/ AS5 Thermal Compound | Mainboard: ASUS A8V-E Deluxe (BIOS 1012) / Socket 939 (VIA K8T890) | Enclosure: 17" Antec Sonata (Piano Black) | PSU: Antec TruePower 2.0 550 Watt ATX12V | Memory: Mushkin XP PC4000 2GB (2X1GB) DDR500 2x216MHz (3-3-3-7 1T) | Monitor: 2x Samsung 931C 19IN LCD Monitor Glossy Black 1280X1024 2000:1 2MS CCFL 97% | Video Card: PCI-E eVGA NVIDIA 7800GTX 512MB 594MHz/1.78GHz | Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 | Internal Storage: Western Digital SATA II (250GB) | Portable Storage: Western Digital (250GB) / HD6-Series Smart-drive 3.5" External Case | DVD ROM: BENQ 16x Dual Layer IDE DVD+/-R/RW| Floppy Drive: 1.44MB MITSUMI D63119 | Mouse: Logitech MX518 Gaming-Grade Optical Mouse (1600 DPI) | Keyboard: Logitech Internet Keyboard | Stylus Tablet: Wacom Graphire (ET) | Modem: Motorolla SB5101 Surfboard Cable Modem (SHAW Extreme) | Router: D-LINK DGL-4300 Wireless Gaming Router | Speakers: Logitech® Z-2300 (2.1) | Headset: Altec Lansing AHS502i | Audio Technica 3035 Studio Condenser Mic | M-AUDIO Radium49 49-Key USB Midi Controller | DigiTech RPx400 Floor Processor & USB Interface | MP3 Player: iriver IFP-190TC 256MB (UMS Firmware Version 1.0c) | Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition (Service Pack 2)
I would rather go back to the last update where I was at least stable w/ bad fps.Īfter some testing I found that changing the "RenderAheadLimit" to 0 in the settings.ini, and changing the "SoundSystemSize" to 2 in the gamesettings.ini file, (both of these located in Docs/BFBC2Beta), my fps smoothed out and increased dramatically. I was consistent at 30-40 fps on low/medium settings before, now I can run at all high and get 30-50 fps, and low at 60+, but unfortunately, the constant FPS dips ruin the game. Must be the result of the new optimizations, which is bad. Gonna try changing it around a bit.Īfter playing alot more, I'm convinced that this is not server lag, but instead fps stutter. The only real idea that I can come up with (aside from the obvious: DICE's new optimisations f**k it up) is that the settings has changed somehow (like if high was medium before and now its enabled to be high).
Graphics stuttering or lag? If its stuttering (like I experience, consistent and constant fps dips) then its not the server being under load.
